Do you realize that all the points you make are still valid with Jesus as the Messiah, the Redeemer, our High Priest and the King of Kings?

I think that every requirement of the redemption of mankind may be met without any Biblical indication or attestation of the diety of Jesus. Check it out.

Thanks for this Paul. One of the finest essays I read by Warfield was in his book “The Person and Work of Jesus Christ” entitled “The Emotional Life of Our Lord.” A rare topic indeed but profoundly written.

While I do not know of the author, Sally Thomas, I am confident that First Things would not publish anything that could not be verified historically.

Thanks, Bill. Appreciate you reading. Agree that Abimilech did nothing wrong, but had he “engaged” Sara and she become “with child,” then that would have stirred the pot just a bit, don’t ya think? God’s plans and purposes are always fulfilled to the letter, thankfully!
